LTI は、外部の教育ツールを LMS に組み込むための国際標準です。学生も教員も、Canvas にログインしたまま出席・動画・分析・本人確認を使えます。ヨウムの製品群は、この共通の作法の上でつながっています。LTI is the international standard for plugging learning tools into an LMS. Students and faculty use attendance, video, analytics and identity checks without leaving Canvas. Youmu’s products all connect on this shared standard.

本体は Canvas LMS SaaS。そこに、日本の大学に必要な機能をアプリとして足していきます。スマートフォンにアプリを入れるのと同じ考え方です。Canvas LMS SaaS is the core. What Japanese universities need is added as apps — the same idea as installing apps on a phone.
Why 1.3
なぜ LTI 1.3 なのか。Why LTI 1.3.
旧版の LTI 1.1 は、共有の秘密鍵と古い署名方式に頼っていました。1EdTech は 2022 年 6 月 30 日に LTI 1.0〜2.0 のサポートを終了しています2。The older LTI 1.1 relied on a shared secret and an outdated signature method. 1EdTech ended support for LTI 1.0–2.0 on 30 June 2022.

Names & Roles
名簿を自動で共有Share the roster
ツールが Canvas の履修者と役割を読み取り、手作業の名簿登録がなくなります。The tool reads Canvas members and roles, so no hand-built rosters.
Grades
成績を評定表へSend grades back
ツールが評定表に列を作り、点数を書き込みます。The tool creates gradebook columns and posts scores.
